Since 1991, the Borderlands Book Store has strived to assist many institutions with their knowledge and purchases of books on the history of the Spanish and Portuguese Empires, The Mexican Republic, and the United States Borderlands and the genealogies of the Hispanic settlers and colonizers of these areas. We welcome new and returning customers to this special section of our website, which is devoted to tax-exempt institutions including, Public Libraries, Academic Libraries, Academic Departments, Historical/Genealogical Libraries or Societies, and Private Libraries.
How to Purchase from the Borderlands Book Store
Special Discount: Libraries and other non-profit organizations are entitled to a discount list price of 10%, except on Hispanic genealogy books, or where noted.
Purchase Orders: Institutions can pay on a net 30 basis upon receipt of a formal Purchase Order, which can be submitted via phone, fax, or e-mail. Please visit our Contact Page for information on communicating with us. Note: You can also follow the "Buy Online" instructions below: Instead of processing the order online with a credit card, print your online order page, and send it by mail or fax with your purchase order number.
Buy Online: Institutions may also purchase books via our website, using their tax-exempt status and with the 10% discount rate. Before you submit your order, please provide us with your Tax ID Number either by phone, fax, or e-mail (visit our Contact Page). We will inform you shortly after you have been added to our Tax ID database, and we will give you an online Coupon Code that will entitle you to the 10% discount on all applicable books. You will then be able to enter your Tax ID Number and the Coupon Code in your Shopping Cart.

1. With All Arms, A Study of a Kindred Group. Carl L. Duaine. Limited number of first edition copies available, but the author's son is working on a second edition due out later in 2004 at a reduced cost. It is considered the "bible" of Hispanic genealogy research for families from Northern Mexico. It is an excellent study of the 150-200 families who founded the Northern Frontier of New Spain.
