With an introduction by Antonio Luna Arroyo. Mexican President Lopez Mateos narrates with pride the history and final resolution on January 14, 1963 of a land dispute between the United Sates and Mexico. El Chamizal was a piece of former Mexican territory that became part of the United Sates when the Rio Grande changed channels. The strip involved about 600 acres and Mexico received most of the land back. The river was rerouted in accordance with the provisions of the treaty between the US and Mexico. Good.
